Rock Band 2 is a music video game developed by Harmonix Music Systems, as the sequel to Rock Band. The game software was released in North America for the Xbox 360 on September 14, 2008, with individual instrument peripherals also available at this date, while the software and hardware bundle will be available on October 19, 2008.
